How we help
- Review pay records, commission plans, PTO policies, and agreements
- Identify wage-law violations and potential treble damages exposure
- Pursue demand/negotiation or an Attorney General complaint when appropriate
- Seek recovery of earned pay, commissions, fees, and statutory remedies
Unpaid wages, withheld commissions, and denied vacation pay fall under strict Massachusetts wage laws. Employers must pay all earned compensation on time, and violations can result in mandatory triple damages and attorney’s fees. Because the law is protective, employees often have stronger rights than they initially realize.
I analyze wage claims by reviewing pay records, compensation agreements, commission plans, and the timing of payments. Many disputes arise from ambiguous bonus structures, incomplete commission policies, or employers attempting to reinterpret terms after work has been performed.
When a violation is clear, I pursue resolution directly with the employer or through a formal complaint with the Attorney General. Most cases resolve without litigation, but the statutory framework makes it possible to obtain meaningful recovery when negotiation fails.
Employees deserve to be paid for the work they performed. My job is to ensure that wage laws are applied correctly and consistently, and that employers do not benefit from unlawful withholding.
